Norco 5000TSB Milk Bottle Labelling Machine

Established in Byron Bay, New South Wales in 1895 Norco is a 100% Australian farmer-owned dairy co-operative with 326 active members on 203 dairy farms in northern New South Wales and south-east Queensland.

In 2020, Norco's turnover from 203 Aussie farms reached 214,000,000 litres.

Impresstik Labelling Systems recently commissioned a milk bottle labelling machine at Norco’s Raleigh NSW site.

The machine has four servo-driven, high-speed labelling stations with an auto interchange feature labelling at over 200 bottles per minute. The auto interchange feature allows the line to operate with 100% uptime without the need to stop the line to change label rolls!

With the labelling rates Norco required, keeping in mind the bottles are lightweight and labelled empty, it is imperative that product handling is precise. As part of the solution, we provided four separate servo-driven bottle gripper belts, two on either side of the bottle, between which the labelling stations apply the front and back labels to the flat bottles.
